((I'm just going to use my first post.))
Deepshadow walked out onto the arena feild. He looked for his opponent, then he saw him. standing at the other end, in the shadows. hmmm. I can't see him very well... oh, well. I guess I'll have to charge in blindly. It's always worked before.
The sun was high in the sky. It was almost 1:00. He should finish this fast. He had to be at the palace by 3:00. He'll finish this fast.
He took out his new knife from his cloak. It wouldn't be a use here. He put it away. Maybe this costomer didn't like fire. Too bad. we only make two kinds of food here. Hot and extra-hot. And this guy would definitely be tasting his sword. He took it out, and closed the difference between them quickly.
Order Up! he said, using his own joke while swinging his sword in a wide lazy arc over his head. This would see how good he is.

Drek changed to dragon form and tried to dodge but was hit by the fire sword right in the leg. He turned and swiped at his opponent's arm with all of the strength of a fully grown dragon annoyed by the scratch he was just warning his opponent. "Hard to take a dragon by surprise huh?", he roared in dragon language.

deepshadow let go of his weapons, shifting all of his arm power to block that blow. he did a double block, but was still knocked back. his assesment so far, this guy is big and strong, but slow.
If I just stay out of range, I'll be fine. he though, launhing four lances of lighting at the dragons wings. if he can't fly, this'll probobly be over quickly.

He flattened his wings down against his but one lightning bolt grazed his ear as he flew up and sent a white hot jet of fire straight at his demonic opponent's blocking arm. "He can't block with a toasted arm", he thought to himself.

deepshadow felt the fire hit his arm. It felt nice in the middle of winter. But, his new shirt was ruined. Aww... Crap. that shirt was brand new! Now I need a new one.
he patched it up as best he could, but now he was cold. A word of advaice lizard boy. Son't do that again. Fire doesn't hurt me, but If you ruin any more clothes, I'll have to bill you for the stuff you ruin.
he worked his arms out to see how they worked. Ow... the hit one was sore from the inpact. that was hotter than normal fire. He'd have to watch out for that. This guy wasn't as helpless as he first appeared to be.
With some effort, he made the hand signs nececary to cast his spell. A ring of lightnig surrounded him. this ring would hurt anybody within range, and it had five lightning bolts in it before it dissapeared. he launched one at the dragon.
